Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Knowher.ai (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Who May Use the Services

The Service is intended for business use. You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind your employer or organization to these Terms. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Account Registration and Security

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

Permitted Use

The Service is designed for recruiting workflows, candidate management, and hiring collaboration. You may use the Service only for its intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.

Acceptable Use and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to engage in unlawful discrimination or misuse candidate data
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, probe, or disrupt our systems or security controls
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service, except where prohibited by applicable law
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Scrape or extract data in bulk beyond permitted functionality
• Use the Service to harass, discriminate, or violate the rights of any person

Customer Content and Candidate Data

"Customer Content" includes all data, files, and information you submit to the Service. You retain ownership of your Customer Content. By submitting content, you grant Knowher.ai a limited license to host, process, and display it as needed to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate rights and permissions to upload candidate data and must comply with applicable employment and privacy laws.

AI and Automated Insights Disclaimer

The Service may generate insights, scores, and recommendations using artificial intelligence and automated analysis. These outputs are:

• Informational only and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate
• Not a substitute for professional advice, legal counsel, or human judgment
• Subject to the user's independent review and verification

You must apply human review to all AI-generated outputs and comply with applicable employment laws when making hiring decisions.

Intellectual Property

Knowher.ai and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including the software, design, trademarks, and all content provided by Knowher.ai. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., Google OAuth for authentication). Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. Knowher.ai is not responsible for third-party services.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KNOWHER.AI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Knowher.ai and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a security or legal risk. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

Fees, Billing, and Refunds

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described at the time of purchase.

• No refunds. All subscription fees are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No partial or prorated refunds will be issued for unused time.
• Billing errors. If you believe you have been charged in error (e.g., a duplicate charge or incorrect amount), contact us at support@knowher.ai within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate and correct verified billing errors.
• Free tier. The free tier of the Service is provided at no charge and may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the date at the top of this page or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Knowher.ai is incorporated. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise agreed.
